7 Piece Finale Collection

This is my entry for the Project Runway contest. The challenge was to make a 7 piece collection for the finale. On the left we have a ruffled purple blouse with studs on the sleeves and on the leather belt, there is also a leather headband, a flowy grey skirt, studded shoes, and a black purse. The bag and shoes are from Lord and Taylor and can be found here [link] and here [link]. to the right of that is a black jacket with studs on the cuffs, a red blouse, a stunning necklace and purse, and leather pants with black shooties. Yes, I know, leather pants!? I must be crazy, right? Wrong. Depending on the outfit, leather pants can be perfect, and leather pants are surprisingly coming in style this year. Next up is a black and brown dress with a spiked belt and a studded collar and sleeves, and since winter is fast approaching I added a fur stole and muff. Lord and Taylor accessories include tan pumps [link], and silver hoop earrings [link]. In the center is a tan trench coat with fringe coming down the shoulders and a studded collar and hem with a black skirt underneath. The Lord and Taylor accessories are these shoes [link], this bag [link]. Next to that is a lovely off the shoulder green and teal blouse with a teal leather collar and a grey skirt. I used this bag [link], this necklace [link], these bangles [link], and these shoes [link]. Second to last is a beautiful white coat with a high collar and cuffs. Under that is a dark tan shirt and flowy black pants with these shoes [link], and this bag [link]. And finally last but not least is a one piece party dress I suppose you could call it. It has silver sequins on the top with random clusters of black sequins (which is getting really popular these days...) and then goes into a black skirt. The top and bottom hem is of a shiny almost silk material that the name of escapes me. >,< For that pop of color I added this red purse [link], and then we have these shoes [link], these earrings [link], this bracelet [link], and this ring [link].


I must say, this competition has been so much fun!! And although I didn't like the judges comments at first, later on I found them very useful, and I think they really helped me evolve into a better designer! I tried to listen to the judges, so I added more color, and although I couldn't use spike all throughout my collection I tried to use studs as a replacement for some of it, and still keep it simple but not TOO simple. I really hope you like my collection!! I put a lot of work into it!!
I also tried different opacity levels and shading to give it more depth. What do you think?
